Me finding every excuse under the sun to not use my ONE chance to write

I haven't started on my goal for this month yet... For starters though, I just have to read through the chapter, maybe make a few notes for editing, and maybe think about how I want to edit it. I did do a skim through recently, and I'm having a feeling that it'll be a very easy chapter to edit, plus it's a shorter one two. I think there might already be a couple of things standing out that needs adjusting, but besides that, it should be easy.

Then, the joys of reading fiction besides my own... I was reading a chapter in this book series I've been reading which has a very similar situation as what my character in last month's chapter was going through, and now I realize I might need to return to my chapter to fix some terminology.

This should be in the Prompts thread, but it's basically the writing challenge in the chapter I'm now working on:

Take a terrible character, who's possibly your antagonist, and write a POV from someone who was close to said character and have them say or think something good about the character, giving them a good character witness that makes them appear like they're actually a good person. (So no highlighting things that makes them look good to a bad guy, but things that would look good to anyone, like being caring, loving, or doing good for the poor.)
