On August 15th I ordered four hen EE and now they are month old. I don't think they are EE. Not sure if I should say something to them or not. I am not even sure I have four hens now.

Call and ask.

Better, email them a photo or three.

EE aren't a breed, they are mutts that should carry the blue shell gene (most of the time) and the brown shell pigment gene (most of the time).

Since the "name" is merely a describtor of a laying characteristic, its hard to tell just by looking at them. Though they do bear more than passing resemblance to GLW...

Thank you for your reply. I just sent them an email asking them what breed of chickens I have because they are showing as GLW not easter egger with photos.

Looking like poorly laced GLW, too early to know if they’re a cockerel or pullet as they’re a slow maturing breed. As for EE they’re called it because they can throw any colored egg. Amerucana will throw blue range to green, not mossy or olive that would make them olive eggers but thus the name EE, because it’s a surprise. I’ve had pink toned and purple to bright blue like my celedon quail. But definitely show them! They also don’t all have face muffs but a mistake is a mistake!
