Hey all and thanks for checking out this thread.
i have 3 roos and 4 hens. They are about 5 months old and all but one hens have started laying. We have too many roos, and have 2 roos and the 1 non laying hen seperated from the rest. There is a small 'hutch' on both sides of the fence and a nesting box inside.
Sinc we have too many roos, i really want to hathc some chicks! However, we dont have a broody.
We have put golfballs in the nesting boxes, but that hasnt worked.
I was wondering, are the conditions in our cage not right for a broody? I really want one!
Here is a diagram of our 'hutch'. There is one of these on both sides of the cage. If you need any omre info, just ask!!
