The reputable hatcheries are pretty good. There are right most of the time. I wanna say 95% of the time is what I've read (I think...). I've not had a problem yet.

Eh, Hoover's isn't one the better hatcheries.
In my experience , they aren't as good sexing chicks or discerning breeds, they're probably about 85%-90% correct on sex.

Sometimes, depending on the breed. if any have pink combs already, those are boys.
