Hey all, so I was at my local TSC the other day and there was this chick that couldnt stand straight or on both feet, I was wondering what that was. Also the lady that had gotten the chick had said that she would take it anyway since they (TSC) would just kill it anyways. Anyways, I was wondering what would be the best way to treat wry neck and other treatable conditions. I wouldnt want any chick to be killed just because it needed some extra TLC.

I'm not sure that sounds like wry neck. IMO you got a chick that was weak, probably because other chicks weren't kettibg it eat, or it got trampled. Actually that sounds like splayed leg...when chicks are kept in places where they don't have good traction then they can't grip to stand. TSC uses pine shavings and most of the time its soaked in the chicks waterers.
