Hi I was wondering if any one else is also nursing a wry neck chicken or had nursed one? If yes what treatments did you use and was it successful? Has anyone used the predinsone? If yes how did that work? I am nursing my silkie right now with wry neck and was wondering how long treatment usually takes? Right now I'm using polyvisol children's liquid vitamins and vitiminE capsules with selenium. I'm also using a low dose children's Bayer aspirin. I will be adding predinsone to my treatment as soon as it arrives. It should be here at least by Friday. I can see small improvements as my silkie is now able to eat with my help and drink with my help thank God! Before I was having to get her to eat and drink with a syringe and was so worried she wasn't getting enough.I'm feeding and watering her now every two or so hours. I'm very grestful she is now able to eat and drink. Although the wry neck its self does not seem much better. I'm looking for any advice or treatment others might be using.? I've searched online and most of what I've found about wry neck is on this forum
