I bought a few Silver Laced Wyandotte chicks today and when I got home, I noticed that one of them appears to have a wry neck(pictured below). I've raised a few little flocks of chickens before but I have no clue how to care for this little guy.
He walks pretty okay aside from the occasional trip. I've actually seen him peck down a few other chicks. The other chicks have found their water and food just fine but for obvious reasons, this guy struggles. He is able to hold his head normally for a few seconds but I haven't seen him actually eat/drink.
I've seen several recommendations to give him a good amount of vitamin E each day but am not sure how to give it to him. Thyme is supposedly a good source and I do have powdered thyme in the cupboard. Could I possibly mix some into his water/food?Or should I try ordering something on Amazon and have it shipped to me? If so, what should I buy? I've been trying to find videos to show me how to help him eat/drink through Google and browsing this forum but I can't find any.
I apologize for making my first post on here a problem rather than an introduction but I'm a more than a bit worried for this little guy. Any and all advice would be greatly, greatly appreciated.
