I have read conflicting things on wry neck from sources I trust. Everyone seems agreed this is a difficult and long-haul condition, and threads about birds suffering such condition can get very long, distracted, or fade away. So I'm wondering if anybody has a bird that actually recovered fully and lived long after suffering from it. Anybody?

I had a chick hatch a couple of months ago (the only one from shipped eggs :barnie) and she was stargazing. A few days of Poultry Nutri-Drench and one morning, she was fine. Clearly a deficiency. She is completely recovered and developing normally. Not long haul, obviously, but recovery is possible.

Ive had some chicks hatch with wry neck that recovered and did fine, Ive had others that I had to cull soon later. Never had a problem with wry neck in older birds. Treated chicks with vitamin e and selenium from the pharmacy. Id crush the pills into powder and mix into their waterer, Id also use an eye dropper to suck up some water with vitamins in it a few times a day and do an oral drench. Ive used nutridrench too with good results. My chicks always recovered in a few days, if they werent recovered in a few days I would cull them to avoid any suffering for the long run.

I had a 1.5mo Easter Egger pullet with wry neck. She couldn’t move her head from a perfectly horizontal position. After a week of Vit E and Selenium, she is back to normal and running around with her friends :)

Congrats! Assuming both are pullets...they're very pretty girls.
