We've got a two year old RIR who started twisting her head up about a week ago. We started her on Rooster Booster immediately and have seen some improvement. Her affliction gets worse when she's under stress from the flock- like when everyone is rushing the door to get out in the morning or when everyone is crowding for snacks and it gets much worse when we pick her up. When we pick her up, she will twist the head completely under her body! Has anyone experienced these symptoms with wry neck or have I misdiagnosed it? Thanks

She does have wry neck, but it is a neurological symptom of head injury, vitamin deficiency, or a disease such as Mareks or some respiratory diseases. Vitamins may help, but getting her away from stress, and giving her peace and quiet, while making sure she is getting enough food and water is best. The vitamins she needs are B1 thiamine, E, and selenium a trace element. Here is some info about dosage at the bottom of this link: http://www.browneggblueegg.com/Article/Crookneck/Crookneck.html
