My ducklings just hatched and I have one with possible wryneck and another with some shell stuck on it. I have them in the brooder at the moment. I made a little brace for it but not sure what to do. I added brewers yeast to the food but they just hatched and not sure if they are interested in food yet

First of all separate it from the rest of your hatch, still under the heat source:)

If your duckling has wry neck it is deficient in vitamin E, and so you need to make that up by feeding it foods rich in vitamin E. Namely almonds, wheat germ oil, and sunflower seeds (most oils are good)

Alternatively buy some vitamin E tablets from your local pharmacist. Feed this 2 to 3 times a day.:)

Since they are not eating at the moment should I force feed? I have sunflower seeds. Would I just blend up the seed itself and no hull? I also don't have another brooder what could I do to prevent injury?
