Wry tail help

If it was not crooked from birth, then it looks like an injury to me. Waterfowl will hold tails like that when feeling discomfort or if they have experienced nerve damage (temporary or permanent).
Thank you for the information! If it is damaged, is there anything I can do to help her?

Cute baby goosie pics.. only one shows her tail so the others are just for cuteness. ;) Her tail appears straight in the photo and in all honesty I remember it being straight until I noticed the "wry tail" today. My guess is an injury??

Yes, could be injury. I had two gandars get into a fight once, and one got a permanent limp, and his tail is a bit sideways now...but wasn't as a baby... DH says most genetic deformities show up at birth...You could breed and see if it shows up... if it does, don't hatch from her again. There are always some defects "lurking", and it may just be a combination of both parents... Sometimes it is just a "throwback", I get all occasional thick necks or bodies or a white bird out of one of my runners...
