Is this considered wry tail? It goes straight occasionally, but usually like this. 4 month old Serama pullet, can they grow out of this?

Was she ever in a fight or injured? That or genetics can be the cause of it. Unlike wry neck, wry tail usually isn't a vitamin deficiency, but I'd treat it for one anyway if neither of the above can be determined. Do you have others like this?

If not laying, are they on a good starter feed and minimal treats? I'd put vitamins in their water every other day for a couple of weeks and see if it helps. We use Poultry Cell mostly. You could try 1/4 of a B-Complex per day too.

Since you said she sometimes straightens it out, I wonder if therapy would help. Otherwise, time will tell if she straightens that out. If she doesn't, I wouldn't breed her.

I haven't had her long. I got her and a rooster from a breeder with intentions for them to be a 4-H project. Purchased from pictures, but both have serious defects, not just flaws, DQs, so definitely not happy with the breeder as I directly asked about squirrel tail for the rooster and she assured me he didn't have it. He definitely does.
