We just lost one of our pullets to a coyote attack, and am looking at replacing her - we have a small backyard flock of 4. We are wanting an egg layer and my daughter would like an EE with a muff. We are looking at a 16-20 week old as our other chickens are around that age and thought it might be easier to integrate if they are about the same size and age... Our budget is around $20, so if any BYC'ers have a friendly pullet that they are willing to part with, please let me know! Thanks.
