Thank you everyone for your very kind offers! After talking to her leader and reading all of the wonderful advice you all have offered, we have decided to begin with a breeding trio. We are leaning towards a cochin (black?) or ameraucana (blue or black). I wanted to start with eggs, but decided I should listen to those with experience as I want this to be a positive experience for her. If you know anyone with a breeding trio for sale in Washington or who is willing to ship when the weather turns please send a message. Willing to pay fair price, obviously more then eggs, lol.
