I sure hope not! I paid BIG BUCKS for them through Holderreads & picked them up, myself...

Yes...but not lately. It's been REALLY cold out. I have not however, seen any um...dangly bits.

So maybe I have ALL females? They are pretty quiet and I've heard that males are usually more vocal than females??

They should lay eggs though, fertile or not, if they are females. I had 2 female giant dewlaps for 2 seasons before I realized why the eggs were not fertile

I have lovely salmon faverolles bantams. I have hatched out a good bunch of chicks. These are show birds and have done very well including 2 -Reserve Featherleg. Please see my site www.loonbit.com for information about them and prices etc. I also have received many questions about difficulties in raising them etc. and I have two pages that help answer these questions. However, if you are on AOL you may have trouble accessing these two pages, so try internet explorer. I will gladly try to help anyone who has questions about raising favs. Can't say I'm an expert for sure, nor do I pretend to know all the answers. However I have had a lot of trials raising these birds for 6 years now, and may have an idea you can put to use. Email me at [email protected] with faverolles in your subject line. I have been a member of byc since 07 I think, but I don't post.

Well, I have not seen Ginny's[beeball2] Favorelles yet[ not due to hatch for another week] but fertility is quite good.
