My son is in need of some bantam chickens for 4H...He isn't set on any particular kind yet. Just wondering if anyone close to me has anything available. We are in Central PA (bout halfway between State College and Williamsport) We're willing to travel a little to pick up. Thanks so much

I have some bantams available...
Check the link to my website - breed listing is on the 2nd page.
We're not too far from State College. I drive to a friend's house in Port Matilda every once in a while. Not a bad drive.
Just send me a pm if you're interested.
I personally would recommend our silkies for 4H. That's what my 8yo son will be showing this year.

I have four silkies, they will be good to go in three weeks. They will be 6 weeks old them. I am in central PA but could meet up with you near State College. Email me if interested. I will only sell all four together $ 12.00 Thanks:lol:

I"m gonna have my son take a look when he gets home from school and see what he thinks (if I'd let him and if we had the space..he'd take them all lol)

The silkies...do you have any idea yet if they are hens or roosters...the reason I ask is that we have a little silkie roo who is a mean little thing...so I'm not sure we could put another roo in with him

Thanks so much for the replies and I'll be letting you know later tonight

We have 4 silkie roos (not for sale) who are inseparable. They are different ages and only 2 are from the same hatch. They get along with each other so well, I currently cage them in pairs at night. Maybe your silkie boy is just lonely?

ETA: SIlkies are really hard to identify gender. I was never really sure until I heard the crowing.
