WTB-Barn Cat in W. NY

Anyone happen to have an outdoor barn cat that needs a home or has had kittens? I live in Western NY so anywhere close would be good so I can PU.

Newspaper ads? There's always TONS of cats and kittens in our local papers...or put up an ad at the feed store on the bulletin board...this time of year, someone will have extra kittens they are trying to get rid of!

I would not patronize someone who was letting their cat breed. if you look for ALL rescues in your area I am sure there is one that adopts out altered ferals. some even help you if they need to be trapped/treated for anything. then you don't have to worry about it having kittens or wandering. its the correct thing to do.

wow, strange, our local humane society is actually running a special on Ferrel cats right now. they require they be fixed but otherwise they are advertising them as barn cats etc. The good news is the special is other than the fee to fix em they are free. We live in a no kill community and 90% off all critters taken in get new homes. including nasty old alley cats.
