I got rid of about 35 so far and I will probably have a few whites to get rid of in the next month or two. I have been very sick from the dander, so my husband has had to take over all of the chicken chores. He was very sweet to offer to do so. He knows I love my birds, but he said if I got rid of most of them, then he would tend to them. I hated getting rid of them, but my health is more important right now.
I kept my 2 splash pullets, 1 blue pullet, 1 black hen and my little buff showgirl. Then I kept all 5 whites for the time being until they mature then I get to pick a couple from that bunch, then I'll get rid of the others.
I really want to get a Lavender Roo for the colored girls, then have a white roo and hopefully a couple of pullets.
I'll get some pics of the Blue Roo and get them posted as soon as I can. He is about 4 months old, so has alot of maturing to do yet.
