Hens go broody when you don’t want them to… and won’t go broody when you do. 
I have been casually looking for ducklings for awhile now and haven't come up with anything locally so I came to BYC to see what everyone has. I would like 2 but could take up to 4 ducklings or even a friendly bunch of females with a male. I am looking to get them before June 14 for my husband for our 5th anniversary. He is smitten with the Cayugas and their black eggs and will accept not substitute... I have tried but he is determined to have the coolest ducks. If anyone has or knows someone I can contact please PM me. I cannot go through hatcheries because their minimums would overrun us.
