I hatched him from eggs purchased from someone on eggbid. She said that she knew she had some split lav. hens and a roo, but she had never personally hatched one. Guess we just got very lucky.

That is a very high price for 3 eggs. I also agree, that pic of rooster looks just like one I raised from Ideal. Comb is too red and the type is all wrong. If you want one that looks like that, I can fix you up!!

I was doing a search and the person I contacted wanted $150.00 a dozen or $15 a chick with a 10 chick required buy. I know they are hard to find but that is just a overboard.

I have 1 3 month old pullet and I ned 1 roo to go with her so I can build my own flock of lavenders. I just want 1 and can't get it.

Can you PM me a pic of the one you have and info. I still wait to check out the other one too.
Here are some whites I got from CJ that hatched on the 25th. one looks like it has some color in it, almost like buff.

Hi Julie,
I have three chicks that were born like that but became all white. Not sure where that buff is coming from but it did not stay. Matter a fact two of them are absolutely gorgeous and the other one not shabby at all. cj

Its an inherited mud spot from mom playing in the mud so much.

She loves the mud and when it rains she just goes out and stand in it and all its glory.

And the best part to her is her two legged mom lets her.
