WTB... Light or Dark Brahma Hatching Eggs

thats crazy. there kinda rare but not that rare. has to be some bogus bidding going on

I'm guessing you guys are looking for any/hatchery quality Brahmas?

That price for a dozen hatching eggs is normal, . . . Truly good Brahmas should honestly go for higher, but really, I never go to eBay for good auctions. Most of the stuff there are "Americanas," a bunch of Marans with little credibility, and a bunch of American Gamefowl.

If you go to the Brahma thread, there are a couple people who know or who are really good breeders. They have the true stuff, not 5-7 lb hatchery hens. (No offense, but honestly when I got my hatchery Brahmas and found my girls to max at 6 lbs. . . VERY disappointed)

well then, i need to be added to the breeders list. godzilla, and kid rock, current breeding roos weigh in at over 12 pounds, and the hens are over 9 pounds. as far as byc members go i have sold eggs to several times, i hope they see this thread and post a reply. yes i should ask more for my eggs, but i am not greedy like some people.

I'm one of the people who bought eggs from Bigdawg. I had 100% hatch rate and was very happy with my guys! Tim, when you get your girls laying again, I would like to buy some more, so please put me on your list. I'm going into withdrawal with 4 incubators, all empty right now!

thank you. i just love that picture. i am putting a lite in the coop today on a timer. they will only lay when there ready. hopefuly soon. your at the top of my egg want list. thanks

Just have to jump in here....I had one of bigdawgs roos. SIMPLY gorgeous bird and very, very gentle

I will probably be getting some more from him to cross onto my Columbian rocks to get some size on them and hopefully some of that brahma temperament ....you won't go wrong with these

thanks scott. sounds like a road trip in my future. i have three that are around 4 months old and one is looking a lot like a roo. i am adding a light today. i hope it works. oh if you come across any red bourbon turkey hens, keep me in mind, my tom needs a couple more hens. maybe swap a roo for a turkey hen.....

Thanks B.D. !!
PM me anyway when they start! I would rather buy from my BYC buds than anywhere else... The bators will be running full blast after the first of the year anyway!
