My pet Barred Rock chicken disappeared today. She was 8 months old; I raised her from a tiny chick. I have another chicken who is mourning the loss of her best buddy, along with me, and I have been advised I need to find another chicken companion for her as soon as possible, since chickens don't do well alone. I have no idea where to find one this time of year and am in hopes some person in my area might have one for sale or to give away? I would love to find an 8-month old Barred Rock, if possible. I live in Taylorsville near Bangerter Highway and 3700 West. Thanks for your help.
