WTH did I get...

Quote: hdowden, we have two accidental straight combs out of four (hatchery) partridge wyandotte cockerels. Call me a newbie, but what is it about these birds that identifies them as Wyandottes, since the comb is wrong?

try using a white towel or something white to show its tint

Here is her egg...

This green tinted egg was laid last night. The only birds in this pen were all of the ones that I bought as RIR and the weird velociraptor bird. I don't know which one of them laid it. I am suspecting the velociraptor though.

Here are both of the eggs together...

it reminds me of the eggs from my parents got from their rocks as for the greenish one, do any of them have a pea comb or green legs or beard or a combo of any of those?

Your "odd looking girl", the one hdowden said was a crested mix--looks like it could have a pea comb. My bet is on her being your green egg layer.

I looked at it this morning, and I think it maybe just an injuried single comb? But she definitely has a tuft on her head :/

I'm not much on crested breeds, but the comb is similar to my birds that have one straight comb parent and one pea comb parent. She's still my best guess for the green egg. You could always seperate her, if you really want to know. Hopefully some one with more crested experience chimes in.
