I put on ear plugs and a face mask then beat the ever lasting life out of oyster shells with a large heavy psycho looking hammer for my quail. Eggs are coming in good, nice shells and beautiful. Mine went through a no laying phase and this fixed it.

I am a HUGE proponent of oyster shells. I have a company on Amazon that actually crushes them really good for me. Here's the link to the product:
