I have dealt with aggressive roosters, this is not that
Zeus is my 8 month old light brahma cockerel, of you know brahmas you know 8 months old does not mean they are still small by any means, he very large.
Today I was opening the coop was inside, leaned just slightly to say hi to my polish
She was on a roost so she was about chest high to me, so I don't bend far, zeus was on their little table next to me and out of no where jumped on my head and tried to mate with me
He his feet alone are about the size of my dang head
I took him off my head, gave him a few shoves and a stern talking to lol
Hes not aggressive never has been
And this was mating behavior not just being mean

Suggestions on dealing with this?
Yesterday I didn't let them out of the coop because of the snow so he really didn't see me yesterday

I'm glad you weren't hurt by those big feet!
It is actually kind of funny, but just can't go on...
Be prepared, watch him, and don't give him any opportunities again. I'd carry a stick or something out there, and make a point of walking 'through' him, and making him stay out of my personal space all the time. Don't have him on you, or in your lap, or hand feed him. Guard your personal space!!!

That’s a beautiful cockerel!

I've always felt that names matter! He is not a god, and shouldn't think so...

I never thought about the significance of names but you may be onto something. My two aggressive roosters had very powerful names. My man Buffalo is a gentleman. He was given the name because of his giant poofy buffalo head as a chick. He’s an EE.
I would be very wary of Zeus. It may never escalate but I would be waiting for it do do just that.
