This is one of the roos I picked up from the lady for free; she said it was a 'rare breed cross' haha... anyway.. apparently it's two rare breeds crossed (she wanted me to 'back-breed it' if I wasn't going to eat it). One of the names sounded french - neither my husband nor I can remember what she said. Either way, they mustn't be pretty breeds and I think this one is called "Sunday Roast" anyway. Just curious! What do you think?

(I bred it with a naked neck for food babies, I don't even want to know what those'll look like)

Also, just so you girls know, you have me saying 'roo' to refer to rooster in day to day life. I told my friends I was killing a roo for sunday dinner and they all honestly thought we were having KANGAroo. I'm impressed with their opinion that I will go out and kill a kangaroo though....

Well, maybe sex link roosters are "rare" over there.

As for the one in the middle in the latest pic, he looks like a mix based on the white earlobes and the coloring in the legs. Mix of what, I have no idea.
