WV chickens in the news

Gad, it's always "to save de widdle children"! Oh please.

It's like the way people move into areas that have been subdivided, and complain that the wildlife is still hanging around. Or they build next to farms, then complain about farm things, like noise, manure, etc.

And let's not forget killer bees, too. (Yes, I'm a beekeeper and proud of it, and work my backyard hive in shirtsleeves.)

people like that foely drive me nuts. they eat chicken every day, but act like its a filthy bird. as far as catching wild chickens with a bowl of food, that wont happen. when chickens go wild they are harder to get close to then people think. your going to need a net. and some patience. i bought wild chickens from people before, and it was tough catching them. just leave the chickens there i say.

feral chickens dirty?????I doubt it- mine only get dirty looking when the pens are dirty from poor weather keeping me from cleaning them and keeping them in them more than usual--free ranging chickens look clean all the time- these folks are nuts
