Oh, oh, oh...who is bringing the silver grey Dorkings? I would love to pick up a couple.
I'm not for sure who will bring what.
I know there is 2 breeders from Maryland that have some of the breeds above.
Msbear might know a little better as I copied the list from the site.
I am a total newbie and am planning on getting my first chickens EVER at this chickenstock. I am hoping for 3 standard pullets, or maybe 2 standards, 2 bantams. Not sure what breed yet, I want to research breeds (temperament, laying habits, etc.) before making a decision.
Anyway, just wanted to pop on this thread to say hi. If you see an Asian woman with two little kids (and a Caucasian husband) at chickenstock, please be nice to this newbie.
Welcome to BYC and welcome to the thread. I'll have delaware chicks and welsummer chicks. They are both nice heritage breeds. The delawares lay strong ALL year round. But, the wellies can be sexed as day olds
I'll be the caucasion woman with the asian husband
and our two boys. We'll be set up by the chicken coop. Be sure to stop in and say hello
I know some of you are close enough to us to want to know that there is a chickenstock this Saturday in Emlenton, Pa, just off rte 80. There is a thread started. . .
