Also, thanks Erin for organizing this again (and anyone else!!)! My girls are totally enthralled with the quail-we are going to see how long it takes dh to notice

.

It was also nice to see some of the birds hatched from our eggs from last chickenstock (sorry, I forget your user name- I will make sure I memorize it, lol)!

I need to make a point to walk around more- by the time I wasn't so busy, almost everyone was gone! Lol! Can't wait for the spring (I only have coronations in the bator- we HAVE to take a break!!)

It is a eco 20 with auto turn. Temp is per set all you have to do is put water in and check humidity once a week oh and put the eggs in. I have a humidity gage init that goes with it . It works great. Holds 24 normal to lg eggs - pullet eggs 30+ . I booklet I got with it is in the box with it. simple to use. I got great hatches with it!

A great chickenstock. The weather was almost ideal, maybe even too warm. We lucked out like we did in July at Gower's. I was impressed with the large number of standard size birds. Thanks to everyone that dropped by my booth and thanks to Erin who helped put this event together even though she was in the middle of moving to her country place in Sharpesburg.

Oh yes, thanks everybody who ran/came. It really was fun! Roo and turkeys are doing good. Does the lady who was giving away the silkie roos have an account here? I have a few questions, but if not, no big deal!

Thanks everyone. The chickenstock was great. Our Uncle can't stop talking about what interesting animals there were, way beyond the chickens that he knew would be there. And our Dad keeps saying what nice "chicken friends" we have. Thanks to all who bought birds from us and all that stopped by to browse. Maybe next time I'll actually be able to step away for a few seconds and take a look around!

I can't believe I missed it.....been rundown with a bad cold since the local festival the previous weekend. I have chicks and chickens to downsize before winter because I can't move fast enough to build housing for them.

Anyone that might be interested in these please PM me.

4 laying hens and 1 rooster (RIR roo, 2 Golden Comet hens, one half GC/RIR hen) They lay big eggs every day.

Pair Blue Bantam Cochin

Dark Cornish Bantam Flock (4 adult hens and 1 roo, 1 cockerel, very pretty and 4 chicks)

Silkies, (One very pretty partridge cockerel, splash roo, 2 blue roos and about 8 as yet unsexed half grown splash and blue chicks)

Pair of Lavender Belgium d'Uccles and about 10 lavender chicks plus couple not sure of.

I am near Franklin WV but can meet you somewhere closer off I-81 possibly.

I too, want to thank everyone that had a hand in setting up the chickenstock and everyone that brought stuff to sell. It was great!! And loved getting to chat with chicken people

I went home with a bunch of new chickie additions...a Wheaten Marans baby, a Splash Laced Wyandotte baby, a blue Marans pullet, an OEGB pullet, a white Rock pullet, a NN pullet, a Speckled Sussex (hopefully a pullet), a Red Sex Link & 4 Cochins & 2 Rosecombs (from Erin). My husband drug me out of there before I could find another box or snag a couple Muscovies lol

Can't wait for the next one!!
