Thanks!!

Is anyone interested in BBR onagadori chicks? They were born 3/22 and I should be able to sex them into pairs by then. I will only have 2-3 pairs to sell for $30/pair. I only plan on bringing them if people express interest and reserve a pair here because I don't want to have to explain to non-gourmet chicken people what makes them cost so much. The parents are extremely beautiful. They are of the Cy Hyde line. They are great foragers, very thrifty and also curious about people. The father is only 9 months and look how long his tail is! My camera phone does not do justice to his bright colors. I will also have some adults (different proto-onagadori line and colors), some cheapy mixed banties, and a blue wheaton ameraucana roo. I got my NPIP last year on 4/9/09 and don't plan to do it again so it will be expired by then. Can I still sell chicks?

Kelpie!! I've been wondering where you've been. I just love love love them.. so spectacular! I think $30 is a real steal for them.

You don't need to get tested to sell chicks... I think as long as they are under 3 months, you're good

I've talked it over with DH and I am going to make the trek! I guess I will come up the night before as it is a 4 hour drive. How far in advance do we have to notify you if we are bringing birds/chicks?

I'm scheduled for my NPIP testing April 1st (woot) so I should be good to go?

I am definitely planning to come, God willing and the crick don't rise.

Those are really pretty, Kelpie. I have enough breeds to work with at present, but I hope you bring them, because I would like to see them!

Hey Faykoko, you should be all good. You won't need AI testing cause you are in state. Thanks for making the trek! That is awesome... at least it will be a beautiful drive.. over the river and through the woods... and over mountains.. and more mountains!
