WV Spring ChickenStock Sat. April 24 8-12 TSC Martinsburg

I will be there too. I have bantam cochin mixes that hatched 8 days ago...sooo cute. Will also have a pair of white silkies for sale. Will have to stand in line though for NPIP...the number I had said it was disconnected...crazy. Oh well. Sounds like alot already got tested before, so maybe the line won't be too long.

I don't have a tarp, or a canopy, so I'm praying the rain holds out too! At least till we're all sold out!

Tammy, I'm super excited for my new additions too!

peachick, Don't know if this will work, but "wink wink" sell all of your stock to a WV resident and let one of us get the free NPIP testing and then they can sell all your stock back to you " wink wink"

Ugly? Are you kidding? It's not ugly, it's BEAUTIFUL!

I definitely want one of your coops, I'll contact you privately.

I LOVE your coops.

Isn't there something in the Bible about not coveting your neighbor's coop? I think I have a problem...

Oh, and BTW, I have several chicks from Peachick who have grown into big chickens, and they are very pretty, and lay LOVELY eggs.

I just hatched out a couple of those eggs for myself.

I am so sad I cannot be there.

I am really looking forward to checking things out and meeting folks. I am on vacation in Canaan Valley now but am driving home to Maryland tonight so I can catch you guys in the wee hours and get back to Canaan for a late morning volunteer commitment. I'm kind of holding out for Sptizhauben and Polish hens (got too many boys now, much as I love them) but who knows...

All my friends I'm out here with know I'm a bird brain :>

It here! WV Chicken Stock starts in a matter of minutes. I sure wish I was there. I'm sure many of you are lined up in the parking lot of the TSC in Martinsburg right now getting your NPIP testing done and meeting each other for the first time.

by chicks! you can keep them inside for 6 weeks or so using a large tote- Home Depot has 54 gallon ones for $20. You can get all the chick supplies you need at TSC while your at the chicken stock!
