I listed some chicks on Craigslist. I had someone e-mail me looking for a frizzle for her son's b-day. I have 2 left, very nice quality chicks. I, for one, don't like to do pets as a present. Also I was concerned she only wanted one, as I haven't let any singles go so they wouldn't be lonely. I did ask if she had more chicks/chickens as I didn't want this to be a novelty. I have no problem keeping the last 2 frizzles as they are not hard to place through here....

If you are uncomfortable, then don't do it. If you're like me, you'll wonder forever what happened to that lone little frizzle! I am still in contact with the lady I got my boston terrier from, over a year ago! LOL! I understand how she would feel. I also give regular updates to my friends on here I've gotten chickens from. Maybe I am just weird, but I think they appreciate them.
