WWYD---quick, I've got it trapped!----updated!

If you drop dogs off around here most farmers shoot them .??

I bet you do not have many varmit problems from those roaming dogs ..
healer crosses .

I would suggest putting up an electrical fence for predators . The instructions on my unit sayes to use 3 live wires and 3 uninsulated wires hang 3 inches below the live wire .I ground my unisulated wire to a post in the ground ..

And the unit is well grounded using a thick copper wire to a metal signpost in the ground.

My unit is good for over 100 miles and I use it for 200 feet of live wire .
It works great on medium ..I tryed touching the wires and got a good jolt.

I bought my unit from a fea market $15
wire,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,$15
five insulator packs of 25,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,$20
tolal maybe $60.00 with the gas and treats on the ride around .

Now before having chickens I had rats and mice around .
now that I have chickens and that electrical fence I have not seen any signs of any animals .

I got two frogs stuck on the wire so far .

It sure was fun before catching rats and mice but now I do not need to trap them or poison rats in the fall..I Hope .
