I have a BLRW cock and SLW, GLW, BLRW hens, along with a Partridge Rock, Buff Rock, and New Hampshire hens.

I took about 30 eggs and put them in the incubator and they should be piping any day now, I am kind of curious as to what the matings will result.

Can Anyone help me with this?

I will post pictures of the chicks as soon as they fluff up!

Thanks,

Any Idea of what these guys will turn out looking like as they mature?

Cute chicks. Can't help with what they will turn out looking like though.
The BLRW x SLW arethe prettiest though. Thinking that the silver will be turne to blue though.

Thanks! The Rooster is a splash, so doesn't that mean all the offspring will be blue?

I'm not really sure on that, I think that redcan override the all blue stuff.
I think that all blue pertains to Blue, black, splash.

i mean, whatever would be black would be diluted to blue.

I can give you an idea, or my best guesses on some of these crosses.

A splash BLRW male over....

BLRW hens = splash and blue laced red chicks

GLW hens = all blue laced, base color likely range from red to gold.

SLW hens = blue laced red pullets, males more closely ressembling silver laced with brassy hackles and saddles.

Part. rock hens = red based chicks with various degrees of blue lacing, likely ranging somewhere between single laced and penciled, funky rose combs

New Hamp. hens =red based chicks with blue tails and trim, some flecking likely, funky rose combs

Buff rock hens = red to buff based chicks , likely with some blue flecking, funky rose combs

Hey Thanks! I can't wait to see what these little guys look like...
