I can see where you can get that idea. Beautiful hen and it looks pretty close to certain pics j googled. Not a very good representation but looks hatchery quality. Still a good looking hen the feathering isn't just quite right

Thank you. I’m glad to have her in the flock. She consistently lays speckled eggs, but the speckling is not very consistent. She is also kind of a loner, and usually the last hen into the coop. Sort of like a guardian rooster.
Thanks for the link. I have to think she is a product of hatchery breeding. She has some strong breed characteristics, just lousy feathers.
