Wyandotte not laying-any ideas why?

My lovely 7 month od Wyandotte hasn't laid an egg yet. Any advice would be great. She may have laid one egg once about a month ago but that's it. She makes a nest in the nesting box every day in the hope of laying.

She is the one sitting down. She does have a double claw on one her back toes, not sure if that makes any difference. Thanks.

I don't think that is a Wyandotte...wrong comb type.
Whose egg is that lying in the foreground?
Do you have a coop with nests?
Do your other birds lay in the nests?

Definitely not a Wyandotte. Looks mixed. I too would think she's laying somewhere out there in your yard with an egg in the foreground laying on the ground. Chickens are sneaky sometimes with hidden nests. I currently have a couple laying their eggs in spots in the yard. They think they are getting away with it too.

The egg belonged to the girl (RIP) in the background. The coop has a nesting area which all the girls use. They also use an old covered cat litter tray when they feel like a change of scenery; it's also in the run. There's not really any hidden areas in the yard that she goes so I doubt she's laying there. She nests every day but never drops an egg. She does look likd more of a Dorking but I'm no expert so wouldn't want to bet my life on it. I think the extra appendage my just be an extra nail on a tiny start of a claw.

Just a weird anomaly...could indicate other internal issues.
