Wyandotte with feathered feet?

They remind me of my SLW/Brahma mix chick penguin

Oh, I love Penguin! Yep... mine sure do look like that. It will be interesting to see what their feather pattern is like when they're all grown up.

my vote is light brahma, but maybe with a mix of something else, as these have a lot more black than mya ladies, although that could just be a natural variation within the breed.

These look like mine. I bought what was supposed to be SLW hatching eggs and they are not. She also has light brahma, cochin, EE, and Polish. I believe some of mine are slw/brahma crosses. Then there are the Polish/EE crosses. See pictures...

looks like my light brahma crosses, the feathers on the legs are not as fully feathered as the purebred brahmas

The chicks came to me through a friend, so I do not have the contact info for the hatchery. (I think it was just a local person who hatches for fun, not a pro or company) I was asking about their breed more out of curiosity than anything else. I am not planning on breeding them. I love them no matter what kind they are! Well... actually, Big Boy just stated crowing and I think I liked him better when he was quiet!
