can i take any California Gray rooster and cross it with any white leghorn hen and get the california whites that are sex link chicks?

That's a better question for the " Breeds , Genetics , & Showing " . I've been studying color genetics but whites are tricky because some breeds carry both dominate white and recessive white , the silver gene can come into play , and I don't understand it all yet .
