Have just had my 1st chick hatch so excited,have a problem thou,The chick which ive been told to leave in incubator for 24hrs has started to peck at unhatched eggs what do i do.Just hope another hatches soon as i don;t want to put it on its own into brooder pen

Congratulations

when i hatched mine some peck'd at unhatched eggs and i just left them and they where fine enjoy them while there all small and fluffy it dont last long they grow up fast lol.

cheers ,was a bit botherd incase it damaged them,Thought chicks were ment to sleep for first few hrs this one seems more energetic than i am ,its been all over the incubator and never stops chirping.
