I have 6 hens and now 5 of them are laying. I finally got a green egg - it is the most beautiful ugly egg I have ever seen!

My gals are slow to mature. I have 3 Orp/Del crosses and 3 Orp/EE crosses. Here are their statistics:

Cabo Orp/Del squat at 26 weeks, egg at 27 weeks
Sassy Orp/Del squat at 26 weeks egg at 27 weeks
Meringue Orp/EE tiny squat at 27 weeks egg at 28 weeks - she still doesn't squat very much
Verde Orp/EE squat at 27 weeks egg at 31 weeks (yes 31 weeks)
Flower Orp/EE squat at 26 weeks egg at 30 weeks - the green egg I got on Saturday
Chuck Orp/Del age 30 weeks no squat no egg - yet.

The Orp/Dels lay large brown eggs, Meringue lays a delicate pinkish colored egg, someone lays a taupe or almost lavender colored egg, Flower laid the green egg, and Chuck will lay brown.
