Ya'll will never guess why my egg turner wasn't working

My egg turner had me so mad today because it wasn't turning the eggs. I asked DH to look at it to see what was wrong.

He came back and told me he fixed it.... wait for it... he plugged it in

I was so excited about my marans eggs that i overlooked the obvious

Lol... I thought I was being so careful I

marans eggs & am so excited about hatching my own. I have a black marans that is in lay and a juvenile cuckoo marans. I would love to have a great hatch rate. I set 20 black marans eggs and 7 cochin yesterday. That is the most chicken eggs I have ever set before, so this is exciting

On a similar note, I once put in a work order at my job and called our IT guy out to try to fix my printer.


Turns out it was out of paper.

I will NEVER live that one down. I swear it was broken before, but apparently all of the time I spent trying to fix it....used up all the paper. So I had fixed it on my own but did not realize the paper had run out while I was doing that. Grrrrr.....
