The ONE thing that I am seeing is that she is on shavings.
if she ate some that would explain several things, small poops, neck scratching, extra stretching maneuvers to name a few.

One other thing that would make her sleepy, and the small poops would be if she is having trouble with the chick feed size.

I keep chicks under a week old on paper towels and I crush the starter to make it much smaller.

Just my thoughts.
Maybe a pine shaving sliver? I also just kept mine on paper towels.

Do you have any other silkie chicks in there to compare Yoda to or is she the only one?:)
I have four others and they were not doing this, however she stopped! I noticed she did it whenever she got her chest wet, which she seems to do every time she drinks water... now we have a new issue on our hands trying to get water to her since I think she’s scared of it now. Been mixing it with her food but hopefully she will drink normally soon. Thank you!

I think you were right with this one! We switched them to paper towels yesterday because I noticed some dust flying around the heat lamp and a couple sneezes. The problem seems to have solved itself. Thank you so much everyone!!

If you put marbles in the water dish they cannot dip quite so deep.
Just enough space left to get their little beaks in.

If you have ducks they need deep water but chicken chicks deal very well with shallow.

This may be unrelated and maybe I should make another post. But I fed Yoda some egg yolk yesterday and she had a small yellow poop today. It was a little watery and then had a small yellow dropping. I didn’t get a chance to take a picture before they walked through it... is this normal?
