Crazy question, but do chickens yawn? I was watching my BO tonight open her beak all the way, over and over about 6 or 7 times. Only thing I could figure was yawning?

Our parrot does that too. Not sure if I've seen my chickens do it though. Gape worms causes chickens to open their mouths a lot. Research "gape worms" and make sure it's not that.

My chicks do this. My parrots also do it from time to time. Both are very heathly and I don't feel it is anything to worry about.

My cockatiel & my chickens all do it. I've always figured it was them making a noise that's too high of a pitch for humans to hear

Chickens will do this to adjust their crops, especially when they do it 6 or 7 times in a row.
