I'm getting Blue Laced Red Wyandottes!
From wonderful quality lines!
Of course, the man of the house is bombarding me with 30 baby BLRW chicks!
The breeder is AMAZING!
His birds... wow, they BLOW away any BLRWs out there that I've seen! Especially hatcheries!
I can totally see the difference in his birds from other birds though!
Big, beautiful majestic birds!

Anyone getting a bird they have wanted for a long time?
We're going to finally get to work with the blues coloration and genetics!
I LOVE GENETICS! This should be fun

Anyone interested in BLRW egglets next year???

Now all I really need are some Light Sussexes and Coronation Sussexes... oh and some Red Jungle Fowls (my true loves <3)

Woo-Hoo! how exciting! I've been wanting BLRW for a while now, just haven't gotten there. I did however get a Cuckoo Maran a couple weeks ago, and I'm getting two coveted breeds' eggs from you in just a little while, the BCM and Sussexes!! Oh yeah, and I'll probably be asking for some BLRW eggies from you when they're laying.

Congrats from another part of Kansas! (When I saw "Russell County," I wondered if that was "our" Russell County, and, yes, indeedy!) I'm waaaayy behind you, chicken-wise, having neither coop nor chooks nor even eggs, but I'm getting lots of vicarious enjoyment out of everyone else's activities while I wait. And I second (third?) (fourth?) the call for photos! (I LOVE Mahroni's call for photos!)

The chicks are approximately $10 each, but sooooo worth it. My jaw dropped when I saw the comparison between the guys birds and other birds. DROP. DEAD. GORGEOUS!
