Yay! She did it!!!

My sweet Ruby laid her first egg this morning at 10:00am! Ruby turned 4 months old today. Oh man, I'm so proud of her. I feel like a kid at Christmas!

Wow and that's a pretty big egg too for a first one! Congratulations! Looks like your Ruby is the same breed as my first chicken. Mine were called Golden Buffs.

Getting that first egg is so exciting! And I love to collect eggs every day......

I love those birds they lay the prettiest and largest eggs I get! Yesterday she laid one that was 3.28 ounces, felt like a baseball!!
