Congrads! I saw that 4 of the chicks hatched fro my swap eggs, that's great. Any idea why the last one didn't?

Post some pics of the little buggers when you get a chance.

I'll have to get some pics in the next day or two. They are SO VERY cute! And one is ONRY! I'm assuming it's a HE...He will run at me & peck/kick my hand when I try to fill their feeder! The last one, just never developed. I left it in there for another four days after the others hatched & then it started to ooze out brown, SUPER smelly stuff.

I then took it outside, way out in the pasture & smashed it. And ran, LOL It was ROTTEN! LOL Nothing in it but a rotten stinky mess....but I'm fine with four chicks....BOTH of my bators are now full....I'm now trying to figure out where to put my faverolle eggs when they arrive! The only "good thing" is that my Sebbie egg is due in a couple of days and my two remaining Muscovy eggs are due this weekend...so that will free up my "high humidity" bator.

eww, rotten eggs are the worst. Have you guess what they are yet?

I'm suprised about the rude one, all the parents are complete lovebugs.

I've made a few guesses....brown eggs...pink legs...good sized chicks...Buff Orpington!!!!????

The rude one....LOL he's actually funny...for now. I just hope he outgrows that!

the other one that looks like a roo is very sweet & actually the most submissive of the three. The other two are very confident & friendly.

Yep you got that right. They are really awsome and they are of decent quality though they've never been shown or anything. The do have broody blood in them, most of my hens have gone broody at one time or another.
