My dog Tug was "winners dog" last Friday and Saturday in Ormond Beach, Fl. He is now singled out and has his first "major". We need him to "cross over" this weekend in Brooksville, Fl. so he can be finshed! (there are majors in "grumps"-not boys)
It was the first time this show was held at this venue-lotza fun. No need to drive anywhere once we got there.

I guess you like Lee Riddle's judging. She gave my Puli and my Irish Wolfhound Group II in Amarillo TX. Isn't she nice to the exhibitors? I always try to take puppies to her because she has good hands with them.

CONGRATS!!!!

I'm not an LR fan in my breed, haha, but good job, and best of luck on the majors. I am the same place with my young male Milton. He will be out in a couple weeks looking for a couple of singles and then we are down to Majors as well.

I have friends in Brooksville showing Rotties and Norwich.

Infodog is getting results up much faster these days, I will keep an eye out for your boy!

He went Best Of Winners again today but the major in grump broke!
I do want everyone to know what great sportsmen the folks were today. It was so wonderful that I got so many congratulations. It was almost as though families and friends all lined up and kept coming up and congratulating us!
It was heart warming and I'm proud to be counted with them!
Oh well, next week! I hope!

I too am a novice but, I'd say stay as long as you can, go to the group rings and watch those handlers. If you can get to a show here and there now, go now. Watch all you can and know that the little things they do are for good reason!
Get ahold of your local kennel club and attend their handling classes. It is probrably one night a week and there are allot of peeps that will be happy to help. (it is usually about $5 a week)
