I thought this was the year of the rabbit! I have seen so many posts so far this year of people wanting/wishing that they have roos hatching! Same for me. I was dreading to discover whether or not I had a roo last year. But this year? I am hoping for as many of them as I can get. Not only to annoy my butt head of a new neighbor but also because of their personalities and their plumage.

I have quite a few I've hatched out....Ya want me to mail them to ya.

This is hilarious, I was just thinking how much I hope I get a couple roos in my next hatch!! I think my big, beautiful boy is ....sterile. :\\ And I'm getting rid of my blue cochin bannie roos - those things are prolific!!

Depends on whatcha got! LOL!
We actually rehomed a rooster recently to make our neighbor happy. He's one of those individuals that it doesn't matter what you do, they'll never be happy.

And that roo was awesome! Funny thing about him....he counted his crows! DH thought I was off my freakin' rocker when I told him that he crows 17 times then quits. Sure enough, he happened to be awake when he started his early morning crowing and it was 17 times! Crazy!
Hoping for as many roosters as possible!

Dang! I was just in Boerne on Sunday! If I go back that way I'll PM you.

I'm getting rid of them, not him! I am raising chickens (partly) to sell eggs and they keep having offspring with my standard hens. It's detrimental to my egg quality! I let all my chickens roam free so I can't really build new pens for them. They sure are cute little buggers though. I just got some hatching eggs from Bargain today, so I'm hoping for a beautiful maran roo or two!!
