Where to start... I was wondering if anyone has tried live or nutrient/brewers yeast in the treatment/prevention of Vent Gleet, it works on most animals for yeast imbalance? From what I read its good for early treatment to prevention of spreading. It works in the seance that yeast varieties don't like each other and will drive each other out given the chance. They don't even necessarily need to be alive to have some effect much the same rotten food that is then pasteurized will make you sick still because the microbes already made whats toxic to you.
I tried searching for this but could not find anything on it on here and its a bit problematic with what causes it and this treating it but they are both referred to as "yeast" but are different like house cats and lions are both cats.
I am not trying to mislead anyone its more of a genuine question as well as I have not seen it used on birds but it should be the same as mammals in cases like this same as Apple cider vinegar is a preventative aid for this in mammals and I see people using acv as well on here for this and pasty bottom(might also benefit from yeast).
I hope its okay that I ask this here, and its coherent enough as I can give to much or little info.
