Yep! that & prob. the pic. light exposure. It's CCCCCooooold out there. Scovies have a shed w/heat lamp to go into at night. Actually, I've been keeping them in till the temps get up near 20 before letting them out lately, otherwise they just plop down and sit and look miserable. So, they've only been out a few hours a day for the last week. Suppose to get down into the single digits tonight. Brrrrrrrrrrr! Next week we have a warm up, hopefully, and it will be back in the high 20's & low to mid 30's. The Scovies can live with that much better.
Ok, lol. I asked because my scovie hens are comming in tomorrow morning from carolina and in the pictures they looked like their carnucles were orangy colored. They have been vet checked and everything.
